Abdenego Nankishi will leave SV Werder Bremen for the Netherlands this season. The 20-year-old will be loaned out to second division club Heracles Almelo until the end of the 2022/2023 season. The attacker had previously extended his contract with SV Werder Bremen.

"We are absolutely convinced of Abde's ability, which is why we extended his contract early. For him it is now important to get game time. We are confident that the loan to Almelo will benefit Abdenego, and that next year he will return a stronger player,” explained Clemens Fritz, Head of Professional Football & Scouting at Werder.

Abdenego Nankishi moved from TV Loxstedt to the Werder academy in 2014 and worked his way up to the first team, for which he played six games in the 2. Bundesliga and one match in the DFB-Pokal. He made 12 appearances for the U23s, scoring two goals.
