Benjamin Goller will leave SV Werder Bremen in January 2023. The 23-year-old forward will move to 1. FC Nürnberg. This was announced by Clemens Fritz, Head of Scouting & Professional Football on Sunday. Goller is already in Nuremberg and will start training from Monday under a guest players’ permit.

"Benni had played a good pre-season before he unfortunately suffered a setback due to injury. Afterwards, he was not able to get the match time he would have liked, so he now wants to take on a new challenge. We wish Benni all the best for the future," explains Clemens Fritz.

Benjamin Goller moved from FC Schalke 04 to the Osterdeich in 2019. After three interim loan spells in Karlsruhe, Darmstadt and Karlsruhe once more, he returned to SV Werder Bremen in the summer. For Werder, he made ten Bundesliga appearances and three in the Regionalliga Nord.
