Another key player has shown his commitment to SV Werder Bremen. The management at SVW reached an agreement with attacker Marvin Ducksch on an early contract extension.
“Marvin has played a big part in helping us achieve our goals over the last two years. We are very pleased that we are continuing on this path together, especially as Marvin had other options after a successful Bundesliga season,” explained Clemens Fritz, head of professional football at Werder Bremen.
The attacker is also looking forward to his future playing for the Green-Whites. “I have always said that I feel very much at home at Werder, both at the city and in the team. We have developed well as a squad over the last two seasons. I would like to continue to be a part of this development.”
The 29-year-old came to Werder in summer 2021 from Hannover 96. Ducksch has scored 32 goals and provided 18 assists for Werder Bremen in 64 competitive appearances.
