“This week has been an unforgettable experience and we’ll never forget the time we’ve spent here. Werder are an unbelievable club and we’re very grateful for this amazing opportunity. The atmosphere in the stadium and the matchday experience as a whole were once in a lifetime experiences for us, as well as the variety of activities we did in the city. We’re looking forward to future collaborations in Vietnam and Bremen, as well as helping the club grow its fanbase in Vietnam and Asia as a whole,” said the influencers about their memorable trip.
The Vietnamese pair also met with Bremen’s economic minister, Kristina Vogt, which was arranged by the WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH. “Football connects people. The fact that these two football influencers have come to visit Bremen shows the sport’s power to unify people and create a collective identity. We’ve not only been able to present the sporting side of Bremen, but also the city as an attractive destination for tourists and businesses. We’ve also managed to reach an audience of millions of Vietnamese people,” stated Andreas Heyer, CEO of the WFB.
Heyer went on to say: “The Werder Bremen brand’s glittering reputation among football fans helps us to market Bremen as an international business hub. Vietnam is one of the main countries as far as our foreign outreach is concerned, so it’s a high priority for us. That’s why we’re especially excited that, thanks to our overseas brand Bremeninvest and our office in Ho-Chi-Minh city, we’ll be able to support SV Werder Bremen in their future efforts to drum up support for the club in Southeast Asia.”
A delegation of representatives from SV Werder, Schächter Sports and the WFB will visit Vietnam to represent the Bundesliga at the end of November.
